You can opt out any time.  No notice is required.  You can just continue to pay your monthly repayments/payments.

Customers who wish to opt out from the automatic payment deferment can just continue with their regular monthly instalment payments.

AFFIN BANK


  • To opt out from the moratorium, please 

a) Go to your nearest AFFINBANK/AFFIN ISLAMIC BANK branch and fill out the Opt out form; or 
b) Call our Call Centre at 03 8230 2222; or 
c) Download the form from our website and email the completed form to yourvoice@affinbank.com.my  
  • Then you may continue to timely and full payment/ repayment of your loan/financing. 

Alliance Bank

For our customers who wish to opt out from the 6-month moratorium:
You will be receiving an SMS for each loan account that you have with us.

Please reply to the SMS by 30 March 2020 to continue paying your monthly loan instalment.

If we do not receive your reply by the above date, your monthly loan instalment payments will be deferred for 6 months.


CIMB BANK

If you wish to opt-out from the programme, you can make your request by sending an SMS to the Bank. /financing accounts: OPTOUT<space>Last 4 Digit NRIC / Passport number <space> Loan/Financing Account Number to 62666 before 7 April 2020

The Bank will send a confirmation SMS to inform that your request to Opt-Out is successful. Please ensure you make the next monthly instalment as usual on the payment due date.


You may also Opt-Out after 8 April 2020 by sending an SMS request to 62666 in the same format as above. Subject to terms and conditions.

Citibank Berhad

Yes, you may opt out by following the below options:

a. You may call Citibank Contact Centre from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. at 03-2383 0000

b. For residential / commercial property loan/financing, primary applicant may reply to our SMS with “REJECT” <space> loan account number” to 66399. Please submit your opt out request on or before 30 April 2020 to exit from the moratorium.

c. For residential / commercial property loan/ financing, you will be deemed to have opted out of the loan/financing deferment if you make a payment exceeding your one month monthly instalment amount into your loan/financing account during the moratorium period. It is advisable for you to keep to this deferment program as the program is meant to assist you during this period. 


HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad

Yes, you can. If you have not opted out of the deferment, the amount transferred into the flexi loan/financing account will offset against your outstanding balance and lower the amount of interest accrued. 

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad
To opt out, you just need to continue paying your monthly instalment. No application is required.

Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad

You can either: • Reply to our SMS that was sent to you to opt out of this loan/financing programme  • Send an SMS to 66399 with the below code for respective products:
